What I Am
By: Mako Kurokawa
I am the wind that flows through the heavens
Gusting through the supple tree
Breezing lightly on the new grass
I am the lightning flashing down from the sky
Lighting up the land below
Crashing thunder in my wake
I am the fire that razes all to the ground
Burning like a super nova
Devouring everything in my path
I am the water of the raging ocean
Pounding against the shores
Dragging the weak into my depths
I am the earth solid beneath your feet
Feeding the land vitality
Holding the creations up
I am everything around you
And yet, none of it at all

And dusk draws over the wood
The first stars prick the dark
As twilight falls on the land
And the shadows fade to black

Nothing so contradicting
Found anywhere else
Nothing so confusing will be
Seen in any world an'where
Both so great and yet
At the same time, so vile and
Disgustingly evil
So cruel that all will crumble
Unwillingly at their feet
